From April 11 to 13, the Student Bureau organized an unforgettable cultural immersion trip to Imilchil, a breathtaking village nestled in the heart of Morocco’s majestic High Atlas Mountains.
This unique journey offered students the chance to disconnect from everyday life and dive into the region’s stunning natural beauty, ancient traditions, and rich cultural heritage.
Highlights of the program included visits to the legendary lakes Isli and Tislit—shrouded in myth and local folklore—an exploration of the intriguing Akhiyam cave, and a tour of the communal granaries of Boutferda, remarkable examples of traditional Berber architecture and communal living.
Far more than a scenic retreat, this trip offered students a profound and transformative experience, encouraging open-mindedness, deepening cultural understanding, and inspiring a genuine appreciation for the local way of life.
